The Year 2021 In Review.
If we were asked what 2021 was like, It’d be that it was an improvement on 2020. One of our primary focus since inception is to contribute to the tech ecosystem of the nation.
Our 2021 started with our annual digital summit which is popularly known as Ogun Digital Summit. The theme was “Competency for the future” and we had this event in March with about 1500 participants. This year’s promises to be bigger, you can keep an eye on here.
At the event, we talked about building an ecosystem that promotes technology entrepreneurship and we’ve been able to do this through capacity building and also launching technology startups.
Just to mention a few, We launched Payercoins in partnership with Threshold (UK based crypto infrastructure company). Payercoins is a crypto payment gateway helping individuals and SMEs accept payments with Bitcoin, USDT, and other cryptocurrencies from customers anywhere in the world.
Also, we backed the launch of Spaceet, a platform helping people to book apartments online.
Moving on to raising tech talents. We were able to help youths explore the digital career path and in six(6) months, they all got connected to entry-level jobs in the tech space.
Our vision for Grazac Academy is to have connected 1000 youths to jobs in the technology industry by 2030 and we know we can achieve this with your unwavering support.
Our new cohort (CH011) resumed on the 7th of January this year. We will be sharing their journey with you on our social platforms. Do well to connect with us on our socials.
